About us

An experienced Pakistani tour operator, run by people from the valleys we take you to.

Why this exists

Pakistan receives a fraction of the foreign visitors its geography deserves, and the reasons are mostly solvable ones: travellers cannot find honest information, cannot get a straight price, and cannot tell a real operator from a website.

We built this to fix the third problem in particular. Our office address, with a photograph of it, is on the payment page. Our bank details are published in full rather than sent once you have committed. You can check all of it before you send us a rupee.

How we work

We plan the trip around you, not around a departure calendar. Every itinerary on this site can be reshaped, and reshaping it costs nothing. You pay only for a trip you confirm.

We quote in dollars, itemised. Accommodation, transport, guide, meals, permits and fees, each on its own line, with a clearly stated list of what is not included. A quote holds for fourteen days.

We take a deposit, not the whole amount. You hold the trip with a fraction of its cost and settle the balance when you arrive and can see what you have bought.

We employ our guides and drivers directly where we can, and work with the same subcontractors year after year where we cannot. The person meeting you at the airport is not from an agency that found the cheapest bid that week.

What we will tell you that others will not

That the drive from Islamabad to Hunza is fourteen hours and there is no way to make it pleasant. That the Skardu flight cancels. That Naran in August is unpleasant. That your itinerary has three regions in seven nights and one of them should go.

None of that costs us bookings. It costs us the wrong bookings, which is a different thing.

The team

Our guides are named, photographed and credentialed on this site, with the valleys they come from and the languages they speak. When your trip is confirmed you are told which of them you are travelling with, before you arrive rather than at the airport.
